Dallas Stars bring back forward Fredrik Karlström on one-year deal

The Dallas Stars re-signed forward Fredrik Karlström to a one-year, two-way contract on Tuesday, the team announced. Karlström, 25, appeared in five games with Dallas in 2022-23, all during the regular season. The 6-3, 200-pound forward has no goals and one assist in eight career NHL games. He has 55 points (26 goals, 29 assists) in 112 regular season games with the Texas Stars (2021-23), Dallas’ development affiliate in the American Hockey League.
