Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua says he is working with political leaders and elders from other regions in pushing for unity of the nation. Mr Gachagua said his efforts to unite the Mount Kenya region are bearing fruits. The DP was given the seat because of his political influence in the Mt Kenya region. Senator Thang’wa asked political leaders to unite and rally behind the President and the Deputy President and cease political attacks. We have a Deputy President whom we are demanding that he must be respected.
