At the same time, the court ordered that the former assistant minister be buried on Saturday after the family registered consent on Friday morning. Roseangela Nkirote, the former MP's alleged wife, had moved to court seeking to block Opore's burial alleging that she and her two children had been excluded from Opore's burial plans. The court ordered that the DNA samples be then transmitted to the Aga Khan hospital for the purposes of ascertaining the paternity of the Nkirote's two children. The Court directed that Opore's burial should take place at his ancestral home in Riana, Bonchari, Kisii County. Nkirote sued Francis Opore, Vincent Opore, Charles Opore, Emily Opore, Robin Opore and Stella Opore on November 4, 2024.
