PETALING JAYA: A total of 209,907 Covid-19 vaccine doses were administered nationwide as of Wednesday (Oct 6). In a series of tweets on Thursday (Oct 7), the Special Committee on Covid-19 Vaccine Supply (JKJAV) said 20,915,720 individuals or 88.8% of the adult population have been fully inoculated while 24,200,366 adults (94.6%) have received at least one dose of a Covid-19 vaccine. It also added that out of the total doses administered on Wednesday, 113,441 received their first dose of a two-dose vaccine while 96,466 have completed their vaccination dosage. Johor leads the state with the most first doses administered at 27,137 followed by Selangor (19,767), Perak (13,308) and Kuala Lumpur (8,366). It also topped the list of the most second doses administered with 17,786, followed by Sabah (16,464), Perak (14,949) and Kedah (11,005).
