Court sentences 2 to death for teen’s murder, 2 others to life in prison for rape in NaogaonA Naogaon court has sentenced two people to death for the kidnapping and murder of a teenage boy in Badalgachi Upazila, while handing life sentences to two others for the rape of a woman in Manda Upazila. The two sentenced to death in the murder case are Mishu, 19, and Pinki, 30, both residents of Khadail village in Badalgachi. In the rape case, Morshed, 35, and Rabiul, 38, of Manda Upazila received life in prison. According to the murder case dossier, on Nov 7, 2020, 14-year-old Nazmul Hossain was lured into a love trap and kidnapped. The woman later turned to the law and filed a case against Rabiul, Morshed, and another woman.
