The mild heatwave sweeping through Khulna, Jessore, and Chuadanga may expand slightly,” Meteorologist Tariful Newaz Kabir said on Sunday, reports bdnews24.com. “At the same time, since it's the monsoon season, there will be sporadic rainfall in some areas. Khulna recorded the highest temperature in the country in the last 24 hours at 37 degrees Celsius. The highest rainfall during the same period was recorded at 28mm in Tarash, while Dhaka saw 27mm of rainfall.
