Bangladesh lost to South Africa by four runs in a low-scoring thriller in New York at the Twenty20 World Cup but a controversial call by the umpire in the 17th over cost Bangladesh four runs. As per International Cricket Council rules, once the umpire gives a decision the ball is declared dead. If the umpire had not given him out, Bangladesh would have had four leg-byes added to their total.
