By Melanie Earley ofPhoto: Supplied/PoliceThe family of a teenager who has been missing for 10 days is concerned for her safety as the police demand to see her. Emily Gurnick-Peacock, 16, was last seen on Dec. 30 at her home in Whangārei, where she lives with her mother, but has not been seen since. Peacock said Emily was about 5 feet 9 inches (1.7 m) tall and had obvious scarring on her head, mostly covered in hair, from previous surgeries for an inoperable brain tumor. “We are all very concerned for her safety and miss her very much. The spokesperson asked anyone who saw Emily to contact police on 911 or online, via update my report.
