Lebanese police stormed an abandoned building in Beirut on Monday to evict hundreds of people who had been squatting there after being displaced by Israel's war on Hezbollah. Authorities in Lebanon have prepared hundreds of shelters to accommodate displaced people, but with nearly 20% of the country's population having fled their homes, official refuges have not been able to cope. Lebanon's interior ministry said it would not allow trespassing on private property despite the displacement crisis
