Lastimosa and the 6-foot-8 Phillips will be making their SEA Games debut on Tuesday, May 9, when Gilas takes on unpredictable Malaysia in the opening day of the basketball group stage. The Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas announced the official Gilas roster on Sunday through its social media platforms. Meanwhile, the Gilas Pilipinas women's 3x3 team fell to Vietnam in the final 16-21 to settle for a silver medal on Sunday, May 7, at the Elephant Hall. Janine Pontejos, Jack Animam, Afril Bernardino and Mikka Cachoi were the Gilas women players.
