The company accidentally paid a man in Chile 286 times his salary in May. When the company realized the mistake, the employee assured his boss that he would return the excess amount. In May, the company mistakenly transferred approximately Rs 1.42 crore (165,398,851 Chilean pesos) to the employee instead of his monthly salary of Rs 43,000 (500,000 pesos). After realizing that the employee had received approximately 286 times his monthly salary, the company reached out to him. To recover their money, the company contacted officials and initiated legal action against the employee.
