Manchester City will have to get the better of Real Madrid if they are to stand any chance of retaining their Champions League crown this season. The draws for the quarter-finals and the semi-finals of the competition were made on Friday morning, pitting City up against the Spanish heavyweights in the last eight. City beat Madrid at the semi-final stage last season, winning 5-1 on aggregate, to reach the final in Istanbul.
