Cavite cops nabbed 217 suspected criminals in single week operations

LUCENA CITY — Cavite police arrested 217 suspected criminals in the province during the week-long operations from May 14-20. In a report on Sunday, the Cavite police provincial office said they busted 101 suspected drug traffickers and confiscated 27.85 grams of “shabu” (crystal meth) and eight grams of marijuana with a total street value of P190,340. Further, law enforcers in the province nabbed 45 wanted felons – at least nine of them were classified as “most wanted persons.”The arrested suspects were detained while others were slapped with corresponding criminal charges.
