ORLANDO, Fla.—Brooke Henderson has won the first event of the 2023 LPGA Tour season. Henderson captured the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions, the 13th LPGA Tour title for the native of Smiths Falls, Ont. She carded a 2-under 70 Sunday to win by four strokes over Maja Stark and Charley Hull. Henderson was the leader after each day at Lake Nona Golf and Country Club — the third time in her career she’s won wire-to-wire. She continues to push her record as the winningest Canadian in history on either the LPGA or PGA Tour.
