On July 20, a group of Palestinian terrorists attacked Jewish worshippers at Joseph’s Tomb in Nablus. Tragically, this most recent Palestinian attack on Jewish worshippers is only the latest in a long string of acts of violence at Joseph’s Tomb. In early April, 2022, dozens of Palestinian rioters attacked Joseph’s Tomb, vandalizing the site, burning Jewish prayer books, setting fires and destroying equipment. While in reality, a group of Palestinian terrorists attempted to murder innocent Jewish worshippers at prayer, a reader of CTV News’ headline would have come to an entirely different conclusion entirely. Any number of changes would have been a significant improvement, but it should have included mention of how Palestinian terrorists opened fire on Jewish worshippers.
