President of the Central African Republic Faustin-Archange Touadéra has addressed a written message to King Mohammed VI. The message was handed over by CAR Foreign Minister Sylvie Baïpo-Temon to her Moroccan peer Nasser Bourita at a meeting in Rabat Monday. During a press briefing following the meeting, Baïpo-Temon praised “the excellent cooperation that the Kingdom of Morocco and the Central African Republic have maintained for a very long time,” emphasizing that this cooperation is not only friendly but also fraternal. She also took the opportunity to reiterate her country’s constant and clear attachment to the territorial integrity of Morocco. The Central African Republic’s top diplomat also reaffirmed her country’s support for the Morocco-proposed autonomy plan as the only credible and realistic solution for resolving the Sahara regional dispute, in compliance with the United Nations Charter.
