Bryan Acheampong Foundation (BAF), a non-governmental organisation, has launched the Mentee Scholarship Project to support brilliant but needy pupils within the Kwahu East District in the Eastern Region. The project would see pupils receive support from the primary school level up to the tertiary level. The project comes to join the general scholarship programmes being implemented by the Foundation, which include scholarships for undergraduate and postgraduate studies. Kwahu East District Director of the Ghana Education Service (GES), Robert Andah Monney, speaking at the launch, lauded the Foundation for the intervention. He appealed to various philanthropists within the District to support the Bryan Acheampong Foundation in the project’s execution.
