State-owned Biman Bangladesh Airlines has reported an unaudited profit of Tk 9.37 billion for the 2024-25 fiscal year. The company said the previous second-highest profit in its history came in 2021-22, when it earned Tk 4.4 billion. According to the airline, revenue in the 2024-25 fiscal year amounted to Tk 116.31 billion. In the previous year, Biman said, it surpassed the Tk 100 billion revenue mark for the first time. Biman said it operated a fleet of 21 aircraft during the 2024-25 fiscal year, 19 of which it owns outright.
