Biman Bangladesh Airlines has announced additional flights on domestic routes ahead of Eid-ul-Azha to accommodate the expected surge in holiday travel. In a press release issued on Friday, the flag carrier said it will operate extra flights from Dhaka to Rajshahi and Syedpur in the north, and to Cox’s Bazar in the south, alongside its regular schedule. Biman spokesperson ABM Rowshan Kabir said that four additional flights will be operated on the Dhaka-Syedpur route and three on the Dhaka-Rajshahi route. As for Cox’s Bazar, the number of extra flights is yet to be finalised, as many people also travel there for leisure during the Eid holidays. Passengers can book tickets through Biman’s sales outlets, official website, mobile app, or by calling the hotline at 13636.
