US President Joe Biden announced on Tuesday that he is running for a second term in the 2024 elections. Biden, 80, posted a video of his upcoming presidential campaign on Twitter. “Personal freedoms in the US are under attack by Republican extremists,” Biden said in the video. “Every generation has a moment where they must defend democracy,” said Biden, who will be 86 when he ends his second term. The question we are facing is whether in the years ahead we have more freedom or less freedom.
