Bangladesh is set to be soaked by a spell of rain as a trough of low continues to hover over the Bay of Bengal. The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecast rainfall across all eight divisions over the next two to three days. Due to its influence, a strong pressure gradient is prevailing over the northern Bay of Bengal. All fishing boats and trawlers in the northern Bay of Bengal have been advised to remain in safe shelter until further notice.
