Pakistan cricket team are scheduled to play in a T20I tri-series in New Zealand with Bangladesh participating as the third team ahead of the T20 World Cup. Skipper Babar Azam claims that this tri-series will be a good competitive practice opportunity for Pakistan to prepare for the all-important mega event in Australia later this year. Pakistan are currently ranked third and will take on number-eight ranked Bangladesh and number-six ranked New Zealand. Speaking to media, Babar Azam set his personal sights against New Zealand as he missed the previous series due to a thumb injury. "I am pleased that we will be featuring in the tri-series in New Zealand as it will help us to arrive early and not only acclimatise for the T20 World Cup in Australia but also give final touches to our preparations," said Babar.
