CAIRO – 11 August 2021: Nagat al-Saghira was born on August 11, 1938. Nagat married twice. Nagat also divorced from her second husband, film director Houssam El-Din Mustafa shortly afterwards and has remained single to date. Moreover, numerous renowned Arab music composers of the 20th century worked with Nagat, including Mohamed Abdel Wahab, Kamal el-Taweel, Mohamed el-Mongy, Baligh Hamdy and many others. Nagat received several awards and honors during her career, including the High Ranking Medal from former President Gamal Abdul Nasser.
