It could be joined within the next 24 to 30 months by Hamama West, a project located within Aton Resources Inc’s Abu Marawat Concession. Listed on the TSX-V, Aton Resources has been exploring in Egypt since 2007, when it was awarded the Abu Marawat Concession in the country’s Eastern Desert. He joined the board of Aton Resources in 2017 and since 2021 has served as CEO, initially on an interim and now on a permanent basis. Under the terms of the Abu Marawat Concession Agreement (CAAM), Aton is obligated to commence production within four years.
