Arsenal will hold talks with Sturm Graz this week as the Austrian club push to sign Mika Biereth on a permanent deal. Arsenal now have a decision to make as Biereth has just one year left on his contract this summer. Sturm Graz will face competition for Biereth’s signature from Championship clubs, including Sheffield Wednesday. Sturm Graz is the third club Biereth has joined on loan since moving to Arsenal, following stints at Dutch side RKC Waalwijk and Motherwell of the Scottish Premiership. Biereth had been at Motherwell for the first half of last season but his loan was cut short after Sturm Graz expressed an interest.
