I’m glad GM Ryan Poles has been investing in the secondary since arriving in Chicago because Lions wideout Amon-Ra St. Brown is going to be a handful to stop in the years to come. St. Brown, whose full given name is Amon-Ra Julian Heru J. St. Brown, was a Pro Bowler last year who put up 106 catches, 1,161 receiving yards, and 6 touchdowns. He says as much here (via NFL media):“I actually still think about it,” St. Brown said about being the 17th receiver taken in his draft class. The NFC North would be hella fun if this is how a “win now” draft were to shake out:If every player was up for grabs in a draft to win now…(via @chad_reuter) pic.twitter.com/eBmwgswy2q — NFL (@NFL) July 11, 2023Spicy: Kirk Cousins didn’t make Justin Jefferson’s list of top-5 quarterbacks.
