Any way you slice it, this is the longest baguette you've ever seenNewsDuration 0:59A group of French bakers have reclaimed the Guinness World Record for the world's longest baguette, mixing and kneading and baking a 140.53-metre behemoth of bread. The title was previously held by Italy, and the French effort took an entire team of bakers to monitor and stabilize the baguette to keep it from breaking as it slowly snaked its way through a specially made oven. After the event, the bread was cut and shared with the public, with the remainder distributed to the homeless.
