Villagers in Narayanganj’s Araihazar Upazila have “beaten another man to death”, after previously killing a suspect in eight cases and a Union Council member. The man was lynched after being accused of taking part in a robbery attempt, police said. The deceased, identified as 32-year-old Nabi Hossain, was the son of Laikka Hossain from Uchitpura Union. The killing is the third such incident in Araihazar Upazila in the past month. Earlier, on Sept 8, Md Aynal Hossain, 42, was beaten to death near his home in Brahmandi Union.
