Nine months ahead of the New Zealand elections, the country’s Prime Minister, Jacinda Ardern resigned on Thursday, saying it’s time for her to step down. Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese in a tweet thanked Ardern for her service and said that a leader like Ardern shows how one can lead with empathy and insight.
