Dr. Dunn is probably the most widely published Liberian academician (I counted at least 38 on a list in Appendix 6). In the face of all this, Dr. Dunn points out that “a pattern persisted of governance by commission or committee rather than [a] more decisive” approach. Dr. Dunn undertook the “concrete task” of investigating allegations of corruption in Johnson Sirleaf’s Executive Mansion. While Dr. Dunn undertook to re-initiate the review, nothing came of this effort. The next Liberian-focused project to engage the attention of Dr. Dunn was the Liberia National History Project.
