CEO of Hubtel, Alex Bram has won the award for Tech and Innovation in the year 2021 at the maiden Ghanaweb Excellence Awards. Alex beat four very tough competitors in that category to emerge winner of this well deserved award. The four were no less a person than Ghana’s digital economy champion, Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia, Zeepay CEO, Andrew Takyi Appiah, Co-Founder of Softribe, Herman Chinery Hesse and Executive Director of Temple, Kodjo Hesse. On that occasion, Hubtel, which is Ghana’s leading messaging, payments and eCommerce provider, also picked up the Digital Company of the Year award. Hubtel is Ghana’s first tech company to become a member of the globally acclaimed Pledge 1% in 2017.
