Actor Tom Sizemore has passed away at 61 years old following a battle with a brain aneurysm. The actor, known for roles in Saving Private Ryan and The Relic, had been in a coma at a hospital in Los Angeles after suffering the aneurysm in February. His manager confirmed his passing in a statement, noting that Sizemore passed away peacefully in his sleep at St Joseph’s Hospital Burbank with his family by his side. Sizemore had gained a reputation for his tough-guy roles in war and action films, and had also appeared in TV shows including Hawaii Five-0 and Robbery Homicide Division. The actor’s private life was at times turbulent, with a history of substance abuse and violent behaviour.
