Tripoli, Libya – Imad Al-Tarablusi, Minister of Interior appointed to the Interim Government of National Unity, confirmed today that all those proven to be involved in the Abu Salim massacre will face justice. The minister stated that the Tripoli Security Directorate has been instructed to pursue the investigation under his direct supervision. The criminal investigation department is currently inspecting the crime scene, collecting forensic evidence and analyzing ballistic data to identify the perpetrators. Earlier on Sunday, a shooting incident claimed the lives of 10 people near Abushaala Mosque in Abu Salim, Tripoli. “Autopsy and ballistic reports have been ordered to determine the time and exact circumstances surrounding this deadly attack,” said Tripoli Security Chief Khalil Wahibi.
