If the Multi-Party Charter (MPC) wants election observers from G7 countries to be present for the 29 May general election, the ANC will reach out to its friends, including Russia, to do the same. This is according to ANC international relations committee coordinator and national executive committee member Obed Bapela. The MPC had written to several countries around the world to send observers to ensure that the upcoming election will be free and fair.
