The Executive committee of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced Friday the dates of Africa’s most popular and competitive football competition, the CAF TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) which will be hosted by Morocco. The final phases of the 35th edition of AFCON-2025 Morocco, will thus take place from 21 December 2025 to 18 January 2026, CAF announced on Friday. Actually, the CAF Executive Committee also announced Friday the dates for the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations 2024 that will also be hosted by Morocco. The draw for the qualifiers for the AFCON 35th edition will take place on July 4 in Johannesburg, South Africa. It was also decided to hold the 46th Ordinary General Assembly of CAF in Kinshasa on October 10, the Confederation said.
