CAF announced new dates for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations and it will have an impact on a number of leagues including Kenya. Confederation of African Football (CAF) finally announced the dates for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations and as expected, the tournament will not be held in the summer. This is likely to be the same scenario for Kenya if Harambee Stars qualify for the tournament. However, it reverted to January and February in the last two editions which Harambee Stars missed. However, this might also be dependent on how many local-based players make it to the national team in the event Kenya qualifies.
