Data from the Implementation Monitoring and Evaluation Division (IMED) of the planning ministry shows the lowest ADP implementation rate for this period since FY2010. Earlier data from IMED had shown that by the end of February, implementation under the original ADP stood at just 24.27 per cent. The now-ousted Awami League government had passed an ADP of Tk 2.78 trillion, including allocations for autonomous agencies, with a core ADP size of Tk 2.65 trillion. A month earlier in April, project spending stood at Tk 105.3 billion, or 4.66 per cent of the revised ADP. For FY2026, the Advisory Council has approved a Tk 7.9 trillion national budget, setting the new ADP size at Tk 2.3 trillion.
