From Tribune staff reportsTRUSSVILLE — The Alabama State Department of Education released the the Alabama Comprehensive Assessment Program (ACAP) district level testing results this week and Trussville City School (TCS) ranked among the best systems in Alabama for proficiency. In English language arts, TCS ranked 6th in Alabama with 75.4% proficiency. Mountain Brook (86.7%) led all systems followed by Vestavia Hills (83.4%), Saraland (87.2%), Homewood (77%), and Cullman City (75.6%). In math, TCS ranked 10th with 58.7% proficiency. In science, TCS ranked 4th with a proficiency of 67.9%.
