He describes the flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, as a liar, and the supposed running mate, Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh, as arrogant. On Wednesday, June 26, 2024, it was reported that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the NPP, proposed the Energy Minister, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, also known as NAPO, as his running mate to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo. A meeting was held on Tuesday night, where Dr. Bawumia sought advice from President Akufo-Addo regarding his choice of a running mate. Ghanaians already know Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh and the kind of arrogant statements he has made in the past.
