Most Interesting Tidbit Since the Last Recap:Obviously it’s that Jameson Taillon was not scratched, and indeed started for the Cubs tonight (it’s not going well). Current Thoughts About the Chicago Cubs’ Trade Deadline Strategy/Execution:I still don’t get the thinking on not scratching Taillon. The Cubs could’ve started Justin Steele tonight on normal rest, and just punted Taillon to tomorrow after the deadline.
