From Tribune staff reportsCENTER POINT — Two teenagers were hit by gunfire in Center Point on Friday night according to Deputy Chief David Agee. On Friday October 13, 2023, at 5:46 p.m., Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies responded to reports of gunshots near the 1800 block of Martinique Dr. NE in Center Point. “Deputies arrived and found that a 16-year-old and a 19-year-old had been injured by gunfire,” Agee said. “Both of the victims were transported to local hospitals to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.”Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office investigators are reviewing video and talking to witnesses to this offense to determine what happened.
