Waterfalls were seen in Tsueng Kwan O on Monday morning as heavy rainfall struck Hong Kong. The Hong Kong Observatory Special Weather Tips today showed Sai Kung recording about 100 millimeters of rain in the past hour and flooding all over. Tsueng Kwan O also had a particularly dramatic scene under the heavy rain, with the slopes near the Tsui Lam Estate forming a waterfall that contained dirt, water, and other objects tumbling down the slope. The trees on the slopes were also blown from side to side as the roads turned into swamps. The police announced that they have received no reports of injuries for now.
