These measures range from financial risk management, audit, and procurement to quality delivery of development services. This cycle requires the conduct of micro assessment for all Implementing Partners-IPs and Responsible Partners-RPs to update their micro assessment rating for the implementation of the new program cycle. It is against this backdrop that UNDP is conducting a training for government partners to ensure that they understand UNDP processes and improve the quality of implementation and their preparedness for the micro assessment. Micro assessment is one of the key documents that determines how UNDP transfers funds to implementing partners for the implementation of projects and programmes.

Bomi – Aggrieved contractors of the Mano Palm Oil Plantation in Bomi County have cut off their strike action, following two days sit-in action against the company management’s failure to live up to Memorandum of Understanding signed between them and the company’s management. The workers staged a strike action at the company facility since Saturday, May 1. “Our action is intended to draw the company’s attention to six-month allowance owed contractors, improvement of our housing units and increment in salary. According to him, several attempts over the time to ensure that these concerns are addressed by the company did not materialize. MONROVIA — The president of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Patrice Motsepe has overturned the ban or suspension on the Samuel Kanyon Doe Sports Complex. The CAF president said the ban on Liberia is a complete embarrassment to him as the president of CAF and to Liberia as well. He said that CAF is prepared to work with Liberia to improve sports in the country, especially football and infrastructure. Minister Wilson lauded the President of CAF Patrice Motsere for the support.
