Photo by Kevork Djansezian/Getty ImagesIn an internal email sent on November 3, Patrick Soon-Shiong, medical technology billionaire and owner of the Times, outlined some of the reasons behind his decision that the paper would not endorse a candidate for president this year. After The Washington Post’s owner and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos similarly made a decision not to endorse, 250,000 readers reportedly canceled their subscriptions. “The temptation is to speak in muffled tones about an issue the international courts have called a plausible genocide. It was more courageous in not endorsing than endorsing either candidate in support of this inaction.

Penn State police are investigating the incident in which Jason Kelce smashed a fan’s phone ahead of Saturday’s Nittany Lions’ game against Ohio State, a spokesperson told The Associated Press. CLICK HERE FOR MORE SPORTS COVERAGE ON FOXNEWS.COMAfterward, Kelce approached the fan and said, “Who’s the f—-t now” several times. I’m not proud of it, and in a heated moment, I chose to greet hate with hate, and I just don’t think that’s a productive thing. I don’t think it leads to discourse and it’s the right way to go about things. They, instead, found a problem with what the Penn State fan said, rather than the phone being smashed.

LOS ANGELES — With its first season in the Big Ten slipping away, USC is making a change at quarterback. Moss, a former four-star prospect, had patiently waited for his time at USC over the previous two seasons as a backup to Caleb Williams. Maiava, meanwhile, bounced between three high schools in two states and didn't start seeing a private quarterback coach until last summer. While he's only received limited snaps so far at USC this season, Maiava is no stranger to leading a college offense. He first committed to Georgia in January, before flipping to USC just two weeks after Moss' breakout bowl performance.

It’s archaic and should be eliminated. The popular vote should determine the winner. It should be adjusted to make the votes proportional, rather than winner-take-all. The Electoral College gives voice to smaller, less populous states. It’s hard to say without an in-depth study of the potential consequences.

Will the Harris Anti-Price Gouging Plan Gore the Market? For the Wall Street Journal editors, there is a specter haunting the market economy: the specter of Kamala Harris’s grocery price gouging proposal. That’s the entirety of her grocery price gouging proposal. On top of that, Harris’s price gouging proposal is nothing new other than the fact that it would be federal law, not state law. That the current grocery price inflation has multiple causes, even if price gouging is not its primary cause, means that price gouging legislation remains a useful safeguard.

That said, I love election day. I love election day too. But, like many, I don’t see this presidential election as about Democrat or Republican. There are fundamental values on the line, even beyond democracy — women’s rights, civil rights, the safety of immigrants. But I will venture this: Nobody knows what’s going to happen on this election day or who’s going to win.

Barry Keoghan is a proud dad and has no time for hateful comments, amid accusations he is a "deadbeat dad." People just read that [as] laziness and go, ‘Oh, that’s no excuse to be an absent father.’ I’m not an absent father." The more attention I’ve gotten lately and the more in the public I’ve become, the less I’ve posted about my child, because I don’t think it’s fair to put my child online. Because I reigned that in, people draw a narrative and go, 'Absent father, s***, deadbeat dad,' and more disgusting things I wouldn’t even repeat. Listen to Barry on "The Louis Theroux Podcast" on iHeartRadio.
