Wellington classroom fire sparks police investigationGOOGLE MAPS Three fire crews worked to extinguish a small fire at Evans Bay Intermediate School overnight. Emergency services are investigating an overnight classroom fire at Evans Bay Intermediate School in Wellington. Wellington, Brooklyn and Newtown fire trucks were at the scene for about 40 minutes. Police and fire safety officers returned to the scene after 8.30am to begin investigations into the cause of the fire. An Evans Bay Intermediate School staff member said the school was working with police, fire and Ministry of Education to confirm any details of the fire- Stuff
