US stock indices edged lower on Wednesday as Treasury yields rebounded on worries about the Federal Reserve’s monetary easing plans. At the opening bell, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 65.4 points, or 0.17 per cent, to 38818.9. US Treasury yields rebounded on Wednesday. Brent crude futures fell 97 cents, or 1.2 per cent, to $82.19 a barrel by 1240 GMT. US West Texas Intermediate crude futures lost 93 cents, or 1.2 per cent, to $77.45 a barrel.
