The storms brought much-needed respite from the scorching heat but unfortunately, also caused damage and loss of life. The weather system brought isolated to scattered rainfall along with dust storms and even isolated hailstorms across Haryana, Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, and Rajasthan. Parts of West Uttar Pradesh and Haryana also faced the brunt of the dust storms and thunderstorms. The residents in Delhi, parts of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, east Rajasthan, and isolated pockets of West Uttar Pradesh can expect rain, thunderstorms, and dust storms with the possibility of isolated hailstorms for another 24 hours.
