The 15-member convening committee was created in the presence of about 50 former students of the department at the ULAB auditorium on Friday. MSJ Assistant Professor Dr Muhammad Sazzad Hossain was appointed the association's advisor. Vice Chancellor Professor Dr HM Jahirul Haque, MSJ Head of Department Professor Dr Jude William R Genilo, and several other professors, lecturers, and students, among others, were also present at the program. ULAB alumni Association President Ahmed Rakib moderated the event.
