That shouldn't happen in Nova Scotia because it is the only province in Canada whose police watchdog organization investigates allegations of domestic violence involving police. Nova Scotia RCMP had six officers charged with offences related to domestic violence since 2012. "I wouldn't necessarily say that there's an increase in domestic violence, it's just that we're seeing more reported."
