Jahangir Alam, 28, was killed in the Bhabanipur area of Kashimpur upazila at around 2:30am on Monday, local sources confirmed. The detectives detained Jahangir who was severely wounded, and took him to Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Medical College and Hospital, where doctors declared him dead. The OC added, Jahangir had a total of eight cases against him, six of which were narcotics cases. We heard news of his death in a gunfight on Monday.
